Elemental pvp shaman - lightning overload worth the points?

Is lightning overload worth the points? what do you think?
I rather take elemental warding and storm reach because i never get that overload thing, but what do you think guys ?

I was elemtal shammy for a short period in lvl 70.
I had 5/5 on lighting overload cous i thought i sounded nice but i wasnt rly worth it. u cant rely on it proccing. would have better if it was a spell with 2 min cd or something

switched the cd on shocks talent to lightning overload talent now, so i can maximize my 5vs5 nuke

so you dont have the shock-talent? ^^ that's a imba talent for pvp, so much interruption with the rank 1 <3

I've been pure resto up til recently when me and Smallsy (kraizds alt shammy) decided to lvl our two lowbies together a lil quicker. So I specced elem now.

I think the LO procs way too little. I mean, you cant really depend on it in pvp.. cuz it never procs when you really need it.

As of the 2.3 patch, when it comes, the LO will be increased i proc-rate, but decreased in damage. To quote:

-Lightning Overload now has a 4/8/12/16/20% chance to proc
-Lightning Overload damage has been decreased by 50%
-Lightning Overload now causes 0 threat

So it'll be 20% proc instead of 5%, but it'll make ½ the damage :/ but well.. in general its good. It'll proc 4 times more then it does atm, but do ½ the damage.. which means we double it's current over-all damage.

Aswell in the 2.3 we can read this:

-Lightning Mastery reduced to .1/.2/.3/.4/.5 seconds
-Lightning Bolt casting time reduced to 2.5 seconds, and mana cost decreased
-Chain Lightning casting time reduced to 2 seconds, and mana cost decreased

So the talent will be only 0.5 sec instead of the current 1 sec.
Tho, the casttime will be 2.5sec instead of 3 at rank 12 (lvl67) so in the end with the same talents, you'll have the same casttime.

So what do you think about the specc? And LO over all?

i have the shock talent.
but i havent specc in the talent that reduces cooldown by 1 sec for shocks ^^

imo your specc for leveling is nice, my pvp spec is almost the same only a few differents.
Like i removed reverbation and removed 4 points in unrelenting storm to get elemental warding, eye of the storm and elemental sheilds =),
and some more.
